What the Heal in Armenia platform does, what independent Armenian clinics remain responsible for, and what a preliminary treatment proposal does not promise.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Heal in Armenia website, platform and related services.

By creating an account, submitting a medical case or otherwise using Heal in Armenia, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, you should not use the platform.

2. About Heal in Armenia

Heal in Armenia is a technology and coordination platform intended to connect international patients with independent healthcare providers in Armenia.

The platform may enable users to create medical cases, share information with selected healthcare providers, receive treatment proposals, compare options, communicate with providers and obtain non-medical assistance related to their treatment journey.

3. Heal in Armenia is not a healthcare provider

Heal in Armenia is not a hospital, clinic, medical practice or emergency medical service.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, we do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatment, perform medical procedures or replace consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.

Medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, procedures and clinical decisions are provided solely by the relevant independent healthcare provider.

Do not use Heal in Armenia for medical emergencies. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency services or seek immediate medical assistance.

4. Independent healthcare providers

Healthcare providers appearing on the platform operate independently from Heal in Armenia unless expressly stated otherwise.

Providers are responsible for their professional qualifications, licences, clinical decisions, treatment recommendations, facilities, personnel, medical procedures, pricing and compliance with applicable laws.

Under Armenian law, medical services are provided by appropriately licensed legal entities or individual entrepreneurs.

Where Heal in Armenia reviews information concerning a provider’s licence, qualifications or other credentials, such review is intended as a platform onboarding measure and does not constitute a guarantee, endorsement or warranty regarding treatment quality or outcomes.

5. Preliminary treatment proposals

Treatment proposals made through the platform may be based upon information, documents, photographs, scans or other materials supplied remotely by the patient.

Such proposals may be preliminary.

A healthcare provider may modify a diagnosis, treatment plan, estimated cost, treatment duration or other recommendation after reviewing additional information or conducting an in-person examination.

Heal in Armenia does not guarantee that a preliminary proposal will remain unchanged.

6. Patient responsibilities

Users agree to provide information that is accurate and complete to the best of their knowledge.

Patients are responsible for disclosing relevant medical history, existing conditions, medications, allergies and other information requested by healthcare professionals.

Users should independently consider the medical advice provided by healthcare professionals and ask appropriate questions before consenting to treatment.

Armenian healthcare law similarly provides patient rights concerning information about diagnosis, treatment methods, risks and treatment options.

7. Treatment decisions

The decision to select a healthcare provider or proceed with any treatment belongs to the patient.

Heal in Armenia may provide technology, comparison tools and administrative assistance to help users understand available options, but we do not make treatment decisions on behalf of patients.

No information displayed on the platform should be treated as a guarantee that a particular provider, procedure or treatment is appropriate for an individual patient.

8. Prices and treatment estimates

Prices displayed or communicated through Heal in Armenia may be estimates supplied by healthcare providers.

Final costs may change due to examination results, diagnostic findings, additional procedures, medication, complications, changes to the treatment plan or other circumstances.

Before treatment, patients should obtain confirmation of final or expected costs directly from the relevant healthcare provider.

9. Payments

Where Heal in Armenia enables payments, deposits or other financial transactions, additional payment terms may apply.

The platform will disclose, where applicable, whether a payment is being made to Heal in Armenia, to a healthcare provider or through a third-party payment processor.

Refund and cancellation conditions may depend on the healthcare provider, treatment and services purchased.

Users should review the applicable cancellation and refund conditions before making payment.

10. Travel arrangements

Patients are responsible for ensuring they hold valid passports, visas, travel documents, insurance and any other documentation necessary to enter Armenia and receive treatment.

Unless expressly included in a purchased service, Heal in Armenia does not guarantee flights, accommodation, visas, transportation or travel arrangements.

Treatment schedules may change for medical or operational reasons. Users should consider flexible travel arrangements where appropriate.

11. No guarantee of medical outcome

Medicine involves inherent uncertainty.

Neither Heal in Armenia nor any information provided through the platform can guarantee the success of a treatment, procedure or medical outcome.

Questions concerning risks, expected results, complications, recovery and alternative treatments should be discussed directly with the treating healthcare professional.

12. Accounts and platform security

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for activity occurring through their account.

Users must notify Heal in Armenia promptly if they believe their account has been compromised or accessed without authorization.

Users may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to another patient’s information, provider accounts, platform systems or restricted functionality.

13. Prohibited use

Users may not use Heal in Armenia to submit fraudulent or misleading information; impersonate another person; upload malicious software; interfere with platform security; access another user’s medical information without authorization; scrape or systematically extract platform data without permission; violate applicable laws; or harass healthcare providers, patients or platform personnel.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, providers or the platform.

14. Intellectual property

The Heal in Armenia name, branding, website design, software, original content, interfaces and platform functionality are owned by or licensed to Heal in Armenia and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit protected platform materials without authorization.

15. Third-party services

Heal in Armenia may integrate or link to services provided by third parties, including healthcare providers, payment processors, video consultation services, analytics providers, travel services or other technology providers.

Those services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.

16. Platform availability

We aim to maintain reliable platform availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may temporarily restrict access for maintenance, security, upgrades or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

17. Limitation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Heal in Armenia is responsible for operating the platform and the services it expressly agrees to provide.

Independent healthcare providers remain responsible for medical advice, diagnosis, treatment and clinical services they provide.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

18. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, users agree to be responsible for losses or claims resulting from their unlawful misuse of the platform, infringement of third-party rights or intentional provision of fraudulent information.

19. Suspension and termination

Heal in Armenia may suspend or terminate accounts that materially violate these Terms, create security or safety risks, engage in fraudulent activity or misuse patient or provider information.

Users may stop using the platform at any time and may request account closure subject to applicable data-retention requirements.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the platform, business operations or applicable legal requirements.

Updated Terms will be published on the website with a revised effective date.

Where legally required, material changes may be communicated to registered users.

21. Governing law and disputes

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Armenia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply based on a user’s location.

Any dispute-resolution mechanism and competent courts should be specified here after confirmation of the legal entity operating Heal in Armenia.
